Marine Cano brings a wealth of experience and success to his role as College Liaison at VHSC. Marine, a former Head Women’s Soccer Coach at California State University Dominguez Hills, led the Toros to the NCAA National Championship in 1991. With an impressive 39 years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, Division II, and NAIA levels, he has achieved over 320 collegiate wins, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier coach and mentor.

Marine holds a USSF ‘A’ License and an NSCAA National Advanced License, reflecting his deep commitment to excellence in coaching and player development. As a professional player, he competed in the NASL and MISL and represented the U.S. National Team, bringing an unparalleled level of expertise and insight to his work with players.

As VHSC’s College Liaison, Marine leverages his extensive coaching and playing background to guide players on their journey to collegiate soccer, helping them navigate recruitment, showcase their talents, and achieve their goals.
